The End of Season soccer banquet will take place on Monday, October 24 at 6:00pm in the Osseo H.S. Cafeteria. Pasta entrees will be provided by
Biaggis. All players, parents and siblings are welcome. Please help out as follows: |
- Varsity: bring drinks
- JV: bring a salad
- B-squad: bring breads and butter
- Freshmen: bring desserts

| Concession Help Needed! |

We desperately need volunteers for concessions Thursday 10/13 at 4:45pm. That's for the Girls game. The Boys play at 7pm.
We may also need concession help for Saturday 10/15 at 10:45am as Osseo is hosting the Section 4A game. This will be a money maker for us if we can get volunteers.

| Salt Delivery |

Salt was finally delivered. Hooray! Thanks for all of you that were able to pick it up on Monday. There are still a few players that need to contact us to pick up their salt at our house (Neal and Marj 763-424-9741). THANKS FOR EVERYONE'S PATIENCE WITH THE NON- DELIVERYS. It was not Culligans fault, it was the distributor for Cargill that dropped the ball. Culligan worked out a deal with Cargill to give us a substantial discount on the price of the salt (for all our troubles) that more than doubles our profit.

| Weekend Tournament Details |
B-Squad and Freshman teams will be playing in the Conference Tournament this Saturday, October 8. Here are the details: |
- B-squad games will be at Coon Rapids High School at 10:30am and 1:30pm. Bus leaves OHS at 9:00am.
- Freshmen games will be at Anoka High School at 9:30am and Noon. Bus leaves OHS at 8:30am.
- All players will be required to turn in their jerseys and shorts after the matches.

Congratulations on a great comeback win by the varsity squad last night! Down 0-2 at half, the team scored 4 consecutive goals
in the second half to secure a 4-3 victory. |

Senior/Parent Day will take place at the Varsity game on Saturday, October 8. The seniors will be recognized along with their parents and the parents will not have to pay to get in to the game. |

- Cookie Fundraiser delivery is on Wednesday 9/21 after practice. Be prepared to pick up and distribute!
- Salt Fundraiser delivery is on Tuesday 9/27 after practice in school parking lot by tennis courts. Please make every effort to pick your salt order up and distribute!
- Your student was given a handout at practice today, so ask them to show it to you.

| Game Results and Channel 12 Rebroadcast |
The Osseo varsity defeated Maple Grove on Tuesday 2-1! Goal scorers were Ralph Cooper and Sam Mason with an assist going to Hussein Kanan.
The Ralph Cooper - Hussein Kanan combo broke through in the 39th minute of the first half to give Osseo the half time lead. Maple Grove came back in the
55th minute with a goal to tie the game. Osseo answered to put it away in the 61st minute on defenseman Sam Masons strike with a direct kick in front of goal.
The Orioles stout defense held on to the victory despite a strong attack with Goalie Brady Hartzel garnering seven saves. Great job!
The game will be rebroadcast on Channel 12 on the following dates/times:

| It was a very successful match day. Varsity defeated Rogers 7-0. Scorers were Hussein Kanan (2), Corbin Cole (2), Ralph Cooper (2) and Nolan Schipper. Setting up the goal scorers were Hussein Kanan, Ralph Cooper, Patrick Paye, Nick Dickovich and Nolan Schipper. JV also defeated Rogers 7-1. On Tuesday, the B-Squad defeated Park Center 7-0 and on Wednesday, the Freshman team beat Maple Grove 1-0. Great job boys! |
